The 2013 Thurston County Youth Match Games was held this past weekend with each participant bowling 9 games on Saturday (three games each center Aztec, Tumwater, and Westside) and finals on Sunday at Tumwater Lanes.
A total of 16 youth participated, 7 girls and 9 boys.
Leading qualifying on Saturday were Cortnie Brathovd and Caleb Hathaway.
The winners were Brooke Collins and Caleb Hathaway. Each will receive a plaque and $80 in scholarship.
Second place were Alexandra Putzier and Michael Webster, each receiving $60.
Third place were Bernadine Dale and Richard Sigmond, winning $50 each.
Rounding out the field for the girls were: Cortnie Brathovd, Amanda Tagye, Jaclyn Messer, and Nicole Dunn.
And the boys: Anthony Bluhm, Jonah Dillingham, Jordan Frost, Rilie Brathovd, Treyshawn Culpepper, and Douglas Gardner.
Each participant will receive all star points based on their positions both days.
