The Thurston County USBCA is seeking a highly organized, detailed oriented, energetic
person to fill the position of Association Manager for the Thurston County USBC
Association. The mission of the Thurston County USBC Association is to provide
programs and services to support its membership, while encouraging participation and
promoting the sport of bowling. The Association serves all men, women, and youth
bowling in certified leagues and tournaments in the jurisdictional area defined as within
the boundaries of Thurston County, Washington.
Term: The Association Manager is appointed for a three (3) year term and is subject to
an annual performance review.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the
Association Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Process membership and awards, remitting to USBC
- Provide support and training to league secretaries
- Maintain Association business, meeting, and financial records
- Oversee the financial aspects of the Association
- Maintain averages and yearbooks
- Coordinate annual city tournaments
- Oversee public relations campaigns
- Oversee transfer information to USBC
- Coordinate and support Board functions and projects
- Implement and monitor directives of the Board to meet USBC directives and
performance standards and Association policies and plans
- Oversee membership recruitment
